  • a Regression coefficients (r2) of the cytokine concentration express the correlation of 13 human cytokines detected in culture supernatants by ELISA and a 15-plex assay run on the Bio-Plex system. Intraassay variability, expressed as coefficient of variation (CV = standard deviation divided by the mean), was calculated based on the average of 14 patient samples that were either untreated or treated with different stimuli (TT, ConA, or PHA) measured twice and run at two different time points. Interassay variation was measured by determining quadruplicates of one standard (1,000 pg/ml) at four different time points. n, number of samples; ND, not done.
